SPORTS DEPARTMENT :-
Dayanand college Commerce Latur has separated sports department. The main moto of this department is to develop sportsmanship in students, healthy lifestyle and encourage than to play national and international games. Sports department played vital role for achieving grand success in different competitions like table tennis Lon’s Tennis, Gymnastic, Batmen , Archery, Swimming, Football, Kabadi, KickBoxing, Chess, Tayakando, Yoga, Karate, Wrestling, Volleyball, Cricket, etc on distinct divisional, state and national level. The college has a healthy practice of giving priority to outstanding sport students during admissions. Saurabh Shevalkar represented Dayanand college of commerce Latur in Cricket on National level and shown extraordinary performance. He Participated 15 different sports competition on state level. Dayanand education society gives cash prizes for playing on state and national level competition.
Dayanand Education Society encourages and helps students to develop all rounder activities. That’s why Dayanand Education Society made available international level playground for students and also badminton Court, Basketball ground Volleyball ground, Lon tennis ground and individual and team sports ground, Gym etc. The students who participate in sports, they get grace marks in board exams. Sports department helps 11th & 12th students to participate in different sports.
